Supercross Lille

Friday the 13th of November will forever be marked as a Black Friday for France and the whole world with the terrorist attacks on Paris.

However the French motocross Federation decided that they were not going to let the terrorists win by  letting the Supercross of Lille go ahead as planned.

On Saturday Lille was host to 21.000 spectators and some very exciting racing with Desprey and Peick as winners. Unfortunately favourite James Stewart got hurt and would not race on Sunday.

Sunday saw two different winners with Richier and Pourcel but in the overall it was Desprey who became for the 2nd year in a row Prince of Lille and Peick took the crown from Tomac as King of Bercy.

Saturdays photos were shot from the floor as I had a photographers bib but the ones of Sunday were shot from my seat in the press stand very high up in the arena with my Canon 70D and my 70-200 lens.
