Last weekend I travelled to Oss in the Netherlands for the 5th race of the Dutch Championship. The circuit 'De Witte Ruijsheuvel' is an atypical Dutch circuit, it's harder than most and definitely not flat. It stayed dry and we had some sun, so a perfect day for racing.
None of the champions is known yet. Rick Elzinga in the 85cc class did not gain enough points on Loeka Thonies to get the deal done, so he'll have to wait until Mill.
In the absence of Jorge Prado Garcia Conrad Mewse took over the lead in the 125cc class with an 11 point lead on Cyril Genot.
With the GP in the USA on the same date a lot of International riders that compete in the Championship were not present or were still injured.
With Tonkov and Pootjes still out, Damon Graulus took over the lead in the MX2 Championship with a 10 points lead on Lars van Berkel.
In the MX1 class we saw three new names for 2015 on the ONK podium. First place was for Nathan Watson with his brother Ben on the third step in the MX2. Ken De Dycker saw Oss as a good trainingsession for the MXoN and he finished 2nd. Marc de Reuver who won the championship last year did not compete after his injury of last year. A couple of weeks ago he was in Axel and now he rode in Oss and was immediately on the podium.
