BK Moerbeke-Waas
Last weekend it was time for the first race of the Belgian Championship. Like the last couple of years we started the season in Moerbeke-Waas. The dark sand was an ideal preparation for Valkenswaard but because last year the track was not up to standards there were not as many top pilots as one could have wished for. Compared to the opener of the Dutch Championship in Axel last week, Moerbeke was the poor cousin. But the riders gave it their best shot and the comments about the track were positive and the trop 3 of the day: Herlings, Nagl and Van Doninck all thought it was a great preparation for the GP next week.
